And now for some more cartoons!
“While ‘pigs shouldn’t trust the butcher’ is a trope, children’s author Avi’s book ‘Poppy’ comes to mind upon seeing tweets from MAGA-supporting federal workers who say they fervently appreciate the work that Elon Musk and DOGE are doing to rid the government of ‘waste’ but request that they and their uncle Frank be spared from Musk’s cuts. The titular mouse Poppy lives under the tyrannical rule of an owl who claims he’s ‘protecting’ Poppy’s family but kills members of that family as his price. Poppy ultimately realizes the truth that her family was blind to. One can only hope that half our electorate will follow the lead of a little brown mouse from a children’s book.”-AB

Here’s that obnoxious button again!
And now for some more cartoons!
Thursday:
“When Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth first shared classified plans to attack the Houthis in Yemen on an app called Signal, Donald Trump said the fallout was a ‘witch hunt.’ When it was revealed that Hegseth also shared those plans with his wife and brother, Trump said Hegseth was doing a great job.”-RR

Friday:
“Tesla’s and Donald Trump’s popularity have something in common: Both continue to plummet, proving that people are increasingly realizing that supporting someone just because he’s rich doesn't pay off.”-PM
